According to some recent figures ive read 44% of small businesses still dont have a website

57% of  people still using the good old Yellow Pages to look for local business youre reaching just over half of your potential audience while search engines take the top spot with 82% of people use search engines to find a local business.

Will small local businesses ever get the way the internet works, jump in at the deep end and invest money in a website rather than the local directories and newspaper ads and give us web designers some work? Theres a lot of work out there, even in the recession to be able to pick up new clients. You need to catch these now as the current older generation who dont have much faith in technology and current generation take their place everyone will know the importance of websites and who here cant open a Facebook account?

probably cos they get ripped off by designers that charge over the top prices thinking the client don’t know what the actual costs are nowadays.
